Editor’s Pick: Ramusake joins the VeGang

When you decide to embrace a plant-based life, there are some restaurants you come to terms with no longer having as your first choice. A hard one for our Founder, Frankie was letting go of Japanese {insert black cod, F A V E S}, BUT we have a little treat for you! Japanese isn’t off the cards! Hurrah!

Thanks to a subtle offering (which actually when the secret is shared (you are welcome), there is SO much on offer) from evening hotspot Ramusake you no longer need to politely decline a Japanese dinner date with the girls (hello Ramusake Wednesdays), they have got you covered.

We visit last week to try out the vegan offering and thoroughly enjoyed the most fantastic Japanese (with a modern twist) inspired dishes. Our favourite was an Aubergine miso dish called Nasu Gengaku, delicious, with seaweed (another faves), veggie sushi rolls, we also enjoyed a Japanese mushrooms dish, watermelon ceviche, alongside some chargrilled veggie skewers named Yasai skewers. Desert was a huge tower of fresh fruit and sorbet (chocolate sorbet, winning). SO MUCH FOOD.
